immortal.life is operated as an independent publication focused on longevity science and research. We are the data controller for personal information you provide through this website. The operator’s company details will be added to this notice.
What we collect
For newsletter subscribers, we collect an email address, consent record, submission time, and source page. For members, we process limited profile details returned by the selected sign-in provider (X or LinkedIn), a provider-specific member identifier, invite activity, points, watchlists, briefings, and account timestamps. LinkedIn sign-in is used for account access and is not identity verification. We do not request medical or health information.
Purposes and legal bases
Newsletter data is processed with consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Member-account data is processed as necessary to provide the requested service under Article 6(1)(b), and where applicable for proportionate security and abuse-prevention interests under Article 6(1)(f).
Social sign-in
When you choose X or LinkedIn, that provider processes the authentication request under its own terms and privacy notice. immortal.life requests only the permissions shown on the provider consent screen. LinkedIn login requests the OpenID Connect profile scope. OAuth access tokens are used transiently during sign-in and are not stored by immortal.life.
Processors and transfers
We use contracted infrastructure providers for website hosting, database services, authentication, and email delivery. Where processing involves an international transfer, the operator uses safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
Retention
We retain newsletter data while you remain subscribed and member data while the account is active. You can delete a member account from the dashboard. After unsubscribe or a valid deletion request, applicable personal data is removed within 30 days unless law requires longer retention.
Your rights
Under GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability where applicable; object to relevant processing; withdraw consent; and complain to your supervisory authority. Contact privacy@immortal.life.
Local storage
The website uses browser session storage for short-lived sign-in state and the signed member session. It does not use this storage for advertising.
